After - Do you see shimmer? Because I don’t.

Pros:

• Intense volume - This mascara definitely made my lashes bolder, bigger and brighter!
• No clumps - This is always a plus!

Cons:

• Shimmer is not noticeable - Maybe it’s because I have dark lashes, but I could not see the shimmer. Even up close…no shimmer.  Shimmer might be more noticeable for those with lighter eyelashes.
   

The Bottom Line: Intially, I thought the wand was too bulky and thought it would be difficult to control.  Luckily, this was not the case.  The wand was incredibly easy to use.  On the wand, Black Cabernet can be described as a shimmery plum/mauve. When applied, that’s a different story…there was no shimmer what so ever.

Would I repurchase? No. Why? Because I expected to see shimmer and am quite disappointed that it did not show up on lashes.  I really do love the concept though! CoverGirl, if you’re reading….you need to amp up the shimmer! However, if this mascara gives the same effect as the original Lashblast, I will definitely repurchase Lashblast.
