Seriously, the last time I’ve used St. Ives products was their famed Apricot Scrub. However, this time around, I was able to try out
St. Ives Whipped Silk – perfect timing for my dry winter skin. I’m always a bit skeptical when it comes to lotion, because it’s not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. But for under $5, it’s definitely worth a try!

The Bottom Line: St. Ives Whipped Silk Intense Body Moisturizer surprisingly moisturized me from head to toe. Unlike most moisturizers, this soft cream glides on easily and absorbs quickly without a greasy feel. For extra hydration, I use this lotion right when I come out of the shower. As for the smell? I also love the scent. It’s a light fragrant scent, nothing overpowering. If you don’t know already, I HATE potent smelling lotions. I still find that body creams and body butters are better for my dry winter skin. However, I wouldn’t mind using this in the Spring or Summer when my skin isn’t as dry. So if you’re looking for an inexpensive lotion that actually moisturizes, this is for you!
