What do you use to remove your makeup? Vaseline? Makeup wipes? Specially formulated makeup removers?
Recently, I came across Abolene Moisturizing Cleanser, a multipurpose product that acts as a makeup remover and moisturizer in one. Albolene Moisturizing Cleanser is a makeup remover that easily remove stubborn mascara and lipstick, yet leaves skin feeling soft, supple and moisturized.

Approx. Price: 3.25 oz ($4.95), 6 oz ($6.95) and 12 oz ($9.95)

The Bottom Line:Overall, Albolene Moisturizng Cleanser does an excellent job removing eye makeup. However, I did not use this product on my face, because I have sensitive skin. The texture is almost identical to Vaseline, but can leave a slight gooey residue. The main ingredient in Albolene’s Moisturizing Cleanser is Mineral Oil. So for those with sensitive skin or skin prone to breakouts like me, refrain from using this product on your face – I would use it for just the removal of eye makeup. Quite honestly, this product works just as well as Vaseline.
Here are some additional tipsthat Abolene Moisturizing Cleanser can be used for:
- Smooth Rough Skin: If you’ve applied too much Albolene to your face when removing makeup at night, don’t let it go to waste. Use the extra on cuticles, elbows, knees or heels to smooth rough patches.
- Soften Lips: Dab Albolene on the lips. Use a clean, soft toothbrush to brush off any flaky bits of dry skin.
- Eye Shadow Rescue: Is your favorite eye shadow broken into tiny bits? Don’t fret. Take the remainder and put it into a small plastic bag or sealable container. Mix in a dollop of Albolene to create a creamy shadow of your favorite color instead.
