Read on to see what my girlfriends and I have to say about Chapstick True Shimmer!

The scent:

• Botanical Berry: “The title of the chapstick describes pretty well the scent of the chapstick, botanical berry. It has a light berry scent”

• Tropical: “Strong scent that goes away. Smells like gummy candy.”

• Peppermint Rush: “Smells just like Peppermint, but the smell does not last long.”

• Blended Fruit Sherbet: “I like the smell when I first put it on, because I like coconut.  After awhile, it reminded me of sunblock. After about 15 minutes, the smell fades away.”

Texture:

“Goes on smoothly, but feels kind of oily once on lips. Doesn’t really moisturize.  In fact, i think it dried out my lips a bit! Shimmers a little, but wipes off. It tends to build up around the edges of your lips and looks funny after awhile.”- Crystal

“It does not feel too thick or filmy. It’s kinda light actually because I usually put on a lot of chapstick. I do not feel it moisturizes enough because my lips are always chapped.” - Claudia

My Two Cents: I tried this Chapstick in Peppermint Rush and I have to agree with my girlfriends.  The smell is light and fades away quickly.  As for the shimmer factor, it is not very noticeable.  And its moisturizing properties?  Sadly, it does not deliver.  Would I purchase these chapsticks again? Probably not.
