E.l.f Blush in Tickled Pink Review
I was recently sent e.l.f’s Studio blush in Tickled Pink. Personally, I never tried e.l.f’s cosmetics, so I was super excited to try it out. Earlier this year, I did review e.l.f’s Studio brush line and found them to be fairly decent. Let’s see if e.l.f’s Studio blush in Tickled Pink will be a hit in my book…
e.l.f’s online description of their Studio blushes: The soft sheer texture blends into the skin for a silky finish. Designed to be worn alone or layered for more depth. Highlight your complexion with a subtle healthy glow!
Approx. Price: $3
Where to Purchase? e.l.f
Priced at $3, this blush is definitely a steal! Jump for the review.
Can you see this swatch? Because I can’t!
The Bottom Line: Skip this blush! In the pan, Tickled Pink blush looks like a peachy pink with hints of gold glimmer. It actually does remind me of the famed NARS Orgasm. I have to admit that the sleek black packaging is cute. There is a mirror embedded into inside the lid, which is perfect for on the go application. However, what’s the point of having a mirror when the blush does not include a brush?
At first glance, Tickled Pink looks extremely pigmented. Unfortunately, it is not. Tickled Pink is very sheer, so sheer that I literally had to dig my blush brush into the pan about four times to get that swatch above! On top of that, I had to dig about five or six times into this blush to get some sort of color on my NC37 complexion. Seriously, a blush should not take this much work! Aside from the poor pigmentation, Tickled Pink is chalky and gives off a matte finish.
Budget beauties, if you’re looking for an inexpensive blush with high color impact, go with NYX.

The packaging is so “NARS.”
I’ve heard rave reviews about the powder brush from their studio line. Good for stippling. However we only get a few selections from their other range here…. 4x the price!!! >.<
So far I’ve only got the eyeshadow brush & eyeliner pencil. Won’t want to purchase at local stores, daylight robbery!
Their cream eyeshadows aren’t good either.

AtelierGal - Yes, I agree the packaging screams NARS - but the pigmentation is not! I do have e.l.f’s powder brush and it works pretty great.
Ichigobunnie - You welcome! For a baby doll pink, you might want to check out CoverGirl Cheekers blush in Classic Pink. Hope this helps!

You should try the blushes from The Face Shop. Very pigmented and inexpensive…well if you compared with the likes of MAC
