On Day 2 at the Golden Globes, I spent the late morning to early afternoon lounging at the L’Oreal Beauty Lounge held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills.  The lounge was definitely more cozier and smaller than the lounge from the previous day.   Invited guests were offered an array of beauty services for pre-Golden Globes pampering that included nails, hair and makeup by L’Oreal Paris.  While these services were catered to women, we must not forget about the men in Hollywood!  The men were offered shaving services provided by the Shave of Beverly Hills.  The foot traffic was on the lighter side, probably because everyone was getting ready for the big night!

L’Oreal Paris and Carelle have teamed up to create this gorgeous compact (shown below) that was given to the leading ladies in Hollywood at the Golden Globes.  Bright Orange Citrine stones are set into a sterling silver and plated in 18kt gold compact.  Recently, L’Oreal Paris received a prestigious star on the Friends of the Hollywood Walk of Fame.  The celebration of this achievement is represented by pave diamond shooting starts are set across the top of this compact.

I saw this compact up close at the L’Oreal Beauty Lounge for the Golden Globes and it is beautiful!

Here’s an idea…L’Oreal should roll out a  jeweled compact that can be readily available to for the masses like us. I would be their first customer!

Just a few minutes ago, I was introduced to Johnny Lavoy, the consulting hair expert for L’Oreal.  The question that I had to ask him – “What are the hair trends for this Spring and Summer?”

His response? Tousled, bohemian hair is out.  Clean, straight and slicked hair with certain parts is in.  Think almost wet hair.  And how can it be achieved? Gloss serums.  His recommendations…L’Oreal Paris’s Vive Pro Glossy Style Line. Best of all, these products are affordable and sold at mass market retailers.

Here I am on Day 1 coverage of the Golden Globes at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills. It’s a gorgeous day here! That’s one of the perks of living in Los Angeles.  The all-white Instyle Suite theme is situated both inside and outside. Inside, are a couple couches and refreshments in a cozy lounge.  Outside, is where all the action is – beauty services!
