During the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, athletes require high performance skin care in order to be comfortable in their own skin and combat wind and freezing temperatures. Sports like skiing, bobsledding and ice hockey, are held on snow or ice and can cause dry, itchy skin. I may not be an athlete, but I can relate to the annoyance of dry skin!
Curél Itch Defense Skin Balancing Moisture Lotion for Dry Itchy Skin is a revolutionary solution to the irritation that causes itching. The Itch Defense moisture lotion rebalances four essential components of healthy skin, restoring skin to its natural moisture levels:
* Humectants and Emollients boost moisturization and leave skin feeling protected
* Natural Ceramides restore skin’s barrier function and regulate skin’s ability to hold moisture
* Accelerated Cellular Turnover minimizes dry, flaky skin and smooths the skin’s surface, balancing the dry skin cycle
* Balanced pH levels return skin to a healthy equilibrium
So whether you are a part of the Olympics, or just cheering for your favorite team, you always want to be a head of the game - just like the athletes. I was recently sent this product for review and let’s see if it helped my dry winter skin!

The Bottom Line:
I’ve used Curél Itch Defense Lotion consistently for two weeks straight and saw superb results! Curél Itch Defense Lotion is a bargain no-frills lotion that actually works! Curél Itch Defense Lotion is unscented and excellent for dry skin sufferers. Due to this dry and cold winter, my skin has been itchy, flaky and dry. No matter how much lotion I slathered on, my skin still felt dehydrated. However, this wasn’t the case with Curél Itch Defense Lotion. At the end of the testing period, my skin was smoother, softer and flake-free! I was quite surprised, because Curél Itch Defense Lotion works better than my HG Aveeno body lotion. If only Curél can add a touch of fragrance to this lotion, it would be perfect!
