American Eagle Launches aerie Color

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I noticed that more retail clothing stores are entering the cosmetics market.  First, it was Forever21, now it’s American Eagle.

Just last week, American Eagle unveiled its newest cosmetic collection…aerie Color.  This collection includes lip glosses, mascara, eyeshadow palettes and eyeliner.  Prices range from $8.50 - $14.50.  That’s not bad at all!

aerie Color includes Botanical Volugloss in eight shades, Superfruit Vitamin Gloss in nine shades, Vast Lash Mascara, which features industry’s first spiral rubber brush technology, four radiant eye shadow palettes with five shades in each and Forever Liner eyeliner, available in four shades.

Bare Escentuals Eyeliner Brush Review

Bare Escentuals Eyeliner Brush: “Apply a precise, clear line like a pro with the finely pointed Eyeliner Brush. Can be used wet or dry to achieve different effects. Taper size: Tight, finely pointed brush head. Level of intensity: Full color intensity for lining.”

Approx. Price: $12

The Bottom Line:

Bare Escentuals Eyeliner Brush is a decent brush for applying gel liner.  Loose powder…not so much.  The brush has a precise point that easily picks up product and glides effortlessly onto my lid.  I’ve been using this liner to apply MAC’s Fluidline and it does the job.  However, after multiple brush washings, the eyeliner brush loses its precision but it still works!

For $12, the brush is definitely not worth it.  But for $6, it is!

FAB TIP: Bare Escentuals Eyeliner Brush retails for $12 on their website. But if you go to Beautyticket.com, it’s only $5.99 - that’s 1/2 off!!
