88 Color Eyeshadow Matte Palette Review
Several weeks ago, I attended IMATS LA and picked up the 88 Color Eyeshadow Matte Palette from the Crown Brush booth. $20 for 88 eyeshadows, I could not resist the price! Beauty bloggers are raving about this palette, so I had to give it a try!
Approx. Price: $20 for 88 eyeshadows

The Bottom Line
You’re getting the most bang for your buck with the 88 Color Eyeshadow Matte Palette. The color selection is phenomenal leaving you with endless color combinations. Even though this palette is labeled as “matte”, not all the eyeshadows are matte. In fact, there’s a fair share of shimmery eyeshadows (thank goodness!). Personally, I’ve created various day and evening with this palette. The sleek casing is thin and compact enough for travel and storage. Hauling this palette around, I feel like a makeup artist (I’m not)!
The drawbacks? The eyeshadow texture and pigmentation is not consistent with all the other eyeshadows. Darker eyeshadows in the palette are highly pigmented, whereas the lighter shades are otherwise. Other than that, for $20, there isn’t much to complain about.
Has anyone else tried the 88 Color Eyeshadow Matte Palette? If so, what are your thoughts?
