The Bottom Line

Okay, I admit the name Bye Bye Blemish is tacky.  But you know what? It works (so that’s okay)!  Its super ingredient is salicylic acid – the ultimate acne fighter.

How does it work?  Allow the pink sediment in the bottle settle, do not shake the bottle.  Dip a cotton swab into the sediment and apply to the affected area (blemish).  Be forewarned, the smell and texture of the drying lotion reminds me of Calamine lotion.  As a tip, Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion is an overnight treatment, so apply it only at night – unless you want to look like you are covering up chicken pox during the day.  Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion works optimal on raised, inflamed blemishes.  It dries up those suckers quick!  I applied this spot treatment on a blemish and within a couple of days, my blemish shrank just in time for the weekend!

I’ve tried both products and find that Bye Bye Blemish Drying Lotion is a great less expensive alternative to Mario Badescu Drying Lotion.
