Just what is inside this dome shaped plastic container?

 Say “Hello!” to Nuance Salma Hayek Beautiful Blends Eye Quad in Smokey!  This eye quad is sold at CVS for $8.49.

Eyeshadow colors in the Quad:

1) Cool Charcoal – Least pigmented eyeshadow of the bunch and the color is very similar to Warm Smoke. Reference the swatches below.
2) Warm Smoke – A dark purple/charcoal eyeshadow.
3) Silver Mist – I think Nuance Salma Hayek mislabeled this shade.  Silver Mist is not silver, it more like an iridescent pink.
4) Pearl Teal - Super pretty! It has Olive undertones and Pearl Teal works great with yellow toned skin!

The Bottom Line

Nuance Salma Hayek Beautiful Blends Eye Quad gets the cute packaging award.  Who can’t resist this domed shaped packaging? But, that is all the credit it deserves.

At first glance, the eye shadows look super pigmented and the color selection is pretty spot on.  A smokey green, black and purple eyeshadow are perfect eyeshadow shades to create that perfect smokey eye look! I really really wanted to like this palette, but I didn’t.

Nuance Salma Hayek Beautiful Blends Eye Quad lacks pigmentation and produces massive eyeshadow fallout.  Cool Charcoal and Warm Smoke are too close alike in color.  Silver Mist isn’t actually Silver.  The only decent eyeshadow in this palette is Pearl Teal.

Save your pretty pennies and skip Nuance Salma Hayek Beautiful Blends Eye Quad.
