I was window shopping this weekend and noticed a lot of stores with yellow clothes. I looked online and noticed that Yellow is the new color for Summer/Spring. I do like the color, because it’s so cheerful and summery for the approaching warmer months. I’m already yellow as it is…so I have to be careful what shade of yellow to wear.

I created this yellow themed set at Polyvore…I’m really loving their site…

I can see myself wearing a dark yellow, like a mustard yellow…tops above. I love the cardigan, dress and tank. I can’t imagine myself wearing a bright, lemon yellow, it will just make me look akward and it a little too bold for me. A pale yellow might not match with my skin also, might wash me out. I would wear clothes with yellow infused with the clothes, but not sure if I would wear yellow by itself. I don’t know about yellow accessories though, because I admit that it can look kinda cheap looking.

I came across Polyvore while browsing other beauty blogs and decided to give it a try. It’s pretty cool…you can put together different type of outfits with accessories. I had a lot of fun doing this…I felt like a fashion magzine editor! This should give you insight on my fashion or lack of fashion sense..hehe.

My Sex in the City/cocktail look attempt. I paired up the classic black dress with a bit of red for extra omph…haha. I’m loving the bling….lol

A Weeked outfit that I would actually wear. I like the color of the top…perfect for spring/summer and I have a fetish for wooden/brown accessories and oversize purses. I also love wedges for Summer, but they can’t be too high because I’m accident prone.

Last but not least…a Summer/beach outfit inspired by my future trip to Hawaii. Again, you see the wedges and wooden accessories..hehe. The string bikini is super cute, unfortunately, I can’t wear that style….sadly, it makes me look way too skinny and would emphasize my boy shaped body…lol. I had to include that Neutrogena sunblock because I love it and it does not break me out!
