I was recently sent Milani’s Runway Eyeshadows in Coffee Shop and Silver Charm. Known for their high pigmentation and color pay off, Milani Cosmetics are reasonably priced in this age of the economy. I’m a already a fan of their eyeshadow quads, let’s see if these individual eye shadows will follow.
Milani’s Runway Eyeshadows are “a silky-smooth powder eye shadow that delivers unbelievable color with a curved double ended applicator. The innovative shape of the curved applicator was designed for easy application. Use the sponge applicator wet or use a thin brush to apply as eye liner to create a glamorous, intense effect on the eyes. Use the brush applicator dry for blending and shading for a subtle, natural finish.”

The Bottom Line:
On the surface, the eye shadow can be a bit deceiving. See the glitter on the surface of each eye shadow? It’s only on the surface! Consumers must have complained about this issue, because Milani posted a disclaimer on this on their website.
Despite the glitter overlay, each eye shadow is pretty pigmented for a drug store eye shadow. However, I still prefer my Milani quad over these individual eye shadows. Coffee Shop is a pearlized copper eye shadow with gold shimmer and Silver Charm is a sheer silver eye shadow. Out of the two, I definitely favor Coffee Shop over Silver Charm. Coffee Shop is a great neutral color that is work safe! And as for the U-shaped applicator, forget it. I found it difficult to use. Word to the wise, cosmetic brushes that come with makeup usually aren’t of top quality.
Have any of you tried Milani’s Runway Eyes? If so, what are your thoughts?
