Suave Professional Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo proves great beauty products don’t have to cost us an arm and a leg.  For $3, this dry shampoo delivers!  I have been using this dry shampoo for one month and have no complaints.

How it works:

1) Shake can well before each use.  Spray Suave Professional Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo 8-10 inches towards your roots.

2) Wait one minute, rub the dry shampoo into your roots with your hand and brush out the rest of the dry shampoo.

3) Ta-da! You are left with refreshed hair and less oily roots!

For reference, I have extremely oily roots. Suave Professional Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo does an excellent job of keeping my oily roots in check in between hair washing and and keeps my hair from looking like an oil slick.  It is also gentle enough on my color treated hair.

For all those that want to save some extra $$, Suave Professional Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo works just as well as Klorane’s Dry Shampoo ($15 retail)!

As a BzzAgent, I had a chance to check out Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner.  I personally never tried Fekkai products and was super excited to try it out.  Priced at about $25 a bottle, Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner is not quite wallet friendly.  Let’s see if  it is worth it…

The Bottom Line

First off, I must say that Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner smells like a concoction of Grapefruit and Floral.  It smells divine!  However, the scent is the only thing Fekkai Technician Color Care has going for it.  Many beauty blogs and reviews raved about this product, but it just doesn’t do it for me.

For reference, I have thin, color-treated Asian hair.  As a cream shampoo, Fekkai Technician Color Care Shampoo actually lathers up nicely and rinses away clean. It was gentle on my color treated hair.  Initially, my hair was shiner and looked healthier after the first week of use.  However, over time, like with any cream shampoo, I noticed product buildup.  My hair started feeling heavy and my scalp started feeling oily.

Is it Fekkai Technician Color Care worth it? For $25? No. For $5? Yes.   I find that there are less expensive alternatives that work just as well or even better.
