Is It Worth It? Nioxin Hair and Scalp Systems

This July, Nioxin introduced its new look with reformulated Hair and Scalp Systems for fuller, thicker-looking hair in 30 days guaranteed! If you aren’t familiar with Nioxin, they specialize in hair products to deliver fuller and denser looking hair.  If you suffer from thin or limp hair (like me!), this system might be for you!

How do Nioxin Hair and Scalp Systems work?

  • The three-part systems contain a cleanser to remove follicle blocking residue, a scalp therapy for hair resilience and moisture balance and a leave-in scalp treatment with antioxidants and botanicals for a refreshed scalp environment.
  • They utilize six technologies for fuller, thicker looking hair and offer UV and color protection to maintain the integrity of color-treated hair in the presence of summer’s scorching rays.
  • Available in six varieties, they cater to every hair type

Nioxin Hair and Scalp Systems ($44) are available in salons nationwide.

FAB TIP: For extra discounts, purchase Nioxin Hair Care Systems at ULTA (use their coupons!) or JCPenney Salons

For a month, I put Nioxin Hair and Scalp System 3 for Fine Hair to the test.  Let’s see if it’s worth its $44 price tag and lives up to its guarantee…

Is it Worth it? Imju Fiberwig Mascara

A girlfriend of mine picked up Imju Fiberwig Mascara for me overseas at Hong Kong.  One of the best selling mascaras in Japan, Fiberwig mascara contains fibers that attach to your natural lashes to lengthen your lashes to give you that false eyelash effect.  I’m not too familiar with Asian cosmetics, but since its release, I’ve been itching to try it out.

Priced at about $20, let’s see if Imju Fiberwig Mascara is worth it…

Approx. Price: $24
