Milani Minerals Blush in Mai Tai Review

Looking for a new Spring blush? Look no further…You MUST check out Milani Minerals Blush in Mai Tai.  I was sent Milani Minerals Blush in Mai Tai for review and am impressed!

Mai Tai can be described as a matte coral hue. Honestly, I was hesitant to check this blush out because matte blushes it tends to look to harsh on my skin.  However, this is not the case with Mai Tai.  It definitely complements my NC37 skin.  Seriously, after two swipes of Mai Tai, it gives me an afterglow flush just as if I had the drink!  What I love about Mai Tai is that it is super pigmented, so you only need a light hand for application.  And for those with sensitive skin, Milani’s Mineral Blushes are talc free!

A super pigmented blush for $6? Now that’s a steal!

The swatch doesn’t do it justice on how bright this shade really is!

Approx. Price: $6

MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation Review

Driven by my curiosity, I caved into purchasing MAC’s Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation.  I love MAC, but I have always encountered issues with their foundation.

For example,

MAC Studio Fix Foundation – Miss (breakouts…yikes!)
MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation – On the fence
MAC Mineralize Foundation Loose – On the fence
MAC Mineralize Skinfinish – Miss (Skinfinish contains bismuth – breakouts central!)
MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation – ??

Priced at $32, MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation is MAC’s most expensive foundation!  But does it deliver?

Let’s see if MAC’s Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation is worth it…

MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation

Thanks to my younger sister, I caved in to purchasing MAC’s newest foundation MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation.   She went to the MAC counter and the makeup artist recommended MAC Mineralize for her dry skin.  I have dry skin myself, so I definitely had to try this out.   I’ve been on my quest to find my HG Foundation, it has been two years!

Currently, I’m a NC37 in MAC’s Studio Fix Fluid Foundation.  At the MAC Counter, I was matched with MAC NC30! Yes..NC30, I was surprised as well.  As a word of caution, MAC Mineralize Foundation runs really dark!

According to MAC’s website: MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation can be described “as a rich, luxurious compact foundation offering a creamy application for a flawless, medium-buildable, naturally revitalized, fully dimensional finish. Lightweight and silky to apply. Good for all skin types; particularly benefits dull and/or dry complexions. Provides super-hydrated, high-comfort wear and everyday SPF 15 sun protection.”

Approx. Price: $32 (This is MAC’s most expensive foundation!)

For all you with sensitive skin, MAC Mineralize SPF 15 Foundation does not contain bismuth…YaY! So far, I haven’t experienced any breakouts.
